Man wrapped in blanket feeling unwell at home, surrounded by tissues and medication.

I am sitting here with the common cold from heck, my nose stuffed like a clogged sink.

It’s times like this that I really appreciate breathing.

I miss breathing.

Everything is easier when you breathe.

In fact, nothing is possible unless you breathe.

Even when you breathe at about half power:

–You can’t speak as well.

–You can’t rest as well.

–You can’t think clearly.

–You feel disconnected from life.

–You can’t enjoy much of anything.

So you medicate yourself. It doesn’t help much. It isn’t what you need.

What you need is to breathe.

Now: go back, re-read, and replace the word breathe with PRAY.

You’re welcome. 1 Thessalonians 5:17
